The international supporters’ association of Atlético Madrid has announced that it has begun fundraising to sue the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The supporters’ group has disclosed that it is selling t-shirts to raise the necessary funds to pursue legal action against UEFA.
The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred during their match against Real Madrid a month ago.
During the game, a penalty taken by Julián Álvarez was disallowed by VAR due to the Argentine forward reportedly touching the ball twice during his spot-kick. This decision sparked considerable outrage among Atlético Madrid fans, leading to the planned legal challenge against UEFA.
