Kalkidan International Makeup School recently celebrated the graduation of 105 students from its 45th round of training. The ceremony took place at Qenenisa Hotel, marking a significant milestone for the aspiring beauty professionals.
The graduating students completed their comprehensive training in various aspects of the beauty industry, including makeup artistry, nail care, hair styling, and eyelash extensions.
The graduation ceremony was attended by a host of notable guests, including renowned artists, digital and traditional media influencers, owners of beauty sector businesses, and other invited dignitaries, highlighting the event’s importance within the industry.
Kalkidan Firdwu, the founder of Kalkidan International Makeup School and a prominent makeup artist herself, emphasized the school’s commitment to providing international-standard beauty education. Beyond this, she stated that the school actively fulfills its social responsibility by supporting and encouraging women from low-income backgrounds who cannot afford tuition. By empowering them with vocational skills, the school aims to provide opportunities for them to become productive citizens with bright prospects and financial independence.
